Canvasback Theater

A 6-minute video documenting the work of a eye surgery team trip to Majuro, in the Marshall Islands. Organized and sponsored by Canvasback Missions, the team accomplished 199 cataract and retinal vitrechtomies in 10 days, in addition to over 50 laser treatments and over 400 patient exams. Inspirational and enlightening, this video is now being used in a peer-to-peer marketing campaign, raising funds to underwrite continued medical work in the Pacific Islands.

The Captain Speaks is a tribute to Jamie Spence, Co-Founder of Canvasback Missions and Captain of the world's largest catamaran that Canvasback used for many years to provide medical care to the remote Outer Islands of Micronesia.

Robuti is a 6-year old boy, born with congenital cataracts—blind since birth. This inspirational video tells the story of how the Canvasback Team, with the help of a couple of miracles, changed Robuti's life and future through cataract-removing surgeries on both of his eyes. In the process, the impact of Robuti changed the lives of everyone on the mission trip.
